A quiet Christmas toast together
My parents were having their first Christmas in a smaller place and had asked us not to buy anything they would need to store. This was a lovely answer. They opened the white for lunch, set out the snacks when neighbours visited and saved the red for another evening. Mum particularly liked the shortbread, and Dad had apparently made a private claim on the cashew brittle.
