A rare splurge

My husband and I agreed to skip other presents for a milestone birthday and chose this to share instead. We had friends around, chilled the champagne and made an evening of it. The shiraz stayed unopened for another dinner and the savoury snacks were useful alongside food we prepared. This isn't a casual purchase for us, but it gave us the sort of celebration we'd hoped for.

For an exceptional anniversary

We bought this together for our parents' golden wedding. The Dom Perignon was a bottle they would never buy themselves, and opening it with the family became part of the celebration. They enjoyed the other treats over the following week.
