Team Bonding Day Out!
The Hampers With Bite team took part in a fun day out in reward for their amazing efforts hitting their targets for the month of March. The team started their day at Latitude Trampoline Park in Heidelberg where the Hamper’s group was split into two teams; White vs Blue!
Let The Games Begin!
The battle of the White and Blue began at the rock climbing walls with a relay. At first a few team members were a tad apprehensive eyeing off the rock walls but nerves were overcome by competitiveness when it reached their time to climb! White team took out the first round showing their team bravery by racing through the wall!
The second round tested our teams with a one on one foam gladiator battle! White team once again were victorious with some impressive knocks into the foam pit!
Round three commenced with a good old fashioned dodge ball competition, with a Latitude twist… on trampolines! The traditional game of dodging balls while trying to throw at your opponents made all the more harder by bouncing around! Our teams got creative with their bouncing to avoid being hit; it was almost as fun to watch as it was to play! Blue team saw their first win with some super skills displayed on the trampolines!
Moving forward to the fourth round we found ourselves in partners on the high ropes course. Once again putting our fear of heights to the test! Blue raced through with a win thanks to their speedy balance work. It was up to the final round, a dunk competition on the trampoline basketball hoops! The teams were even at 2 wins all. Getting creative with our dunking styles saw a mixture of traditional dunking and not-so-traditional dunking with attempted somersaults included! The final decision was in… Blue Team were the winners! A fantastic day at Latitude was only to be followed by a cocktail class at Mofo Lounge to make and enjoy some victory drinks!
Mofo Lounge – Cocktail Making Classes!
The cocktail class was a great vibe! The host taught us new skills in pouring, measuring and of course shaking! We looked the part as our team shook up new recipes of traditional cocktails. Mofo lounge is a low-lit Moroccan themed trendy bar on Greville street where we made (and consumed!) French Martinis, Mojitos and also channeled our inner Carrie Bradshaw with Cosmos!
A lot of team bonding occurred over sipping our own made drinks and playing games to get to know each other that little bit better and celebrate our awesome month here at Hampers With Bite!
