Hi Pankaj! Introduce yourself!

I am Pankaj and I work alongside, although in a different office to, the Hampers with Bite team. I am the Warehouse Manager at our Melbourne factory.

What is your role at Hampers with Bite?
I run the day to day management of our Melbourne warehouse. That includes packing and distributing all of our hampers across Australia. Also making sure that all of our staff are following policy and procedure to keep quality at a high level and everyone safe and happy.

What is the most challenging part of your role?
We are always looking at ways of upgrading our processes and searching out ways to make everything easier. For example, finding the best printers, computer systems and technology to find solutions to problems or labour intensive tasks.

What is most important in your role?
Having a great relationship with our suppliers. Without them we wouldn’t be able to run as efficiently as we do!

Favourite part of your role?
We hire a large amount of staff in the lead up to Christmas which is great having more friendly faces around. Then having a large Christmas barbecue to celebrate the end of the season is always fun.

Favourite hamper?
I think my favourite would be the Munch O’Clock hamper, it’s full of some really delicious savoury snacks like barbecue chips and pretzels.
